1. ALWAYS look at the bulletin board for upcoming meets! All meets where the coaches will be attending will be posted. WE WILL MAKE LIMITED COPIES OF THE MEETS---TOO MANY WASTED COPIES! You can always print out copies of the meet entry forms here: Swim Meet Entry Form (in PDF format)
   
2. If your child(ren) will be attending a meet, please fill out the Swim Meet Entry Form. Remember -- Each child has his/her entry form! THE NAME ON THE ENTRY FORM MUST BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS ON YOUR USS FORM- THE MEET ENTRY PERSON DOESN'T KNOW YOUR CHILD!
3. List the event numbers, as they appear on the meet information sheet, that your child will be swimming.
   
4. Enter the event name in the box under the event number. This makes sure the person putting in your entry knows for sure which event your child will be swimming - a double check system for your own benefit.
   
5. Enter your child's fastest USS time in the box below the event name. If you do not know, you can leave this blank, and your child's fastest time on record will be entered. If you put a faster time than what is on record and you want that time entered you HAVE TO CIRCLE THE TIME or the computer will default to the fastest time on our records. For swimmers without times on record, NT(No Time) will be entered.
   
6. Please add the number of entries multiply this number by the entry fee posted on the meet information board. Then add the appropriate administration fee; this is your total Meet Fees.
   
7. Make the check payable to 'Hurricane Swimming, Inc.' and submit the check with your form (no cash).
8. If there are relays posted in this meet: If your child wants to swim in a relay, please fill out the bottom part of the Meet Entry Form. Only if there are enough swimmers will we swim relays! If you sign up for a relay, Coach Carol will be collecting relay fees from you before the meet. We will not collect from alternates on relays unless you swim.
   
9. It is not the Coaches' responsibility if a person on your relay doesn't show up or stay for the relay. If you sign up for a relay you are expected not to let your team mates down by leaving early or not showing up!
   
10. With your completed entry & your check in your hands, walk into the pool area, look for our meet entry mailbox, and place the form with the check, preferably in an envelope, into the box by the DUE DATE.
    ***There will be NO LATE ENTRIES! Through the email list, I provide **many** reminder notices of upcoming meet deadlines!***
    
11. Once the meet entries are entered, a list will be posted poolside of all the entries. A parent MUST CHECK THIS LIST for accuracy!!! Despite proofreading, I can make mistakes...it's up to you to help me find them. Getting upset at me the day of a meet won't be very helpful so PLEASE MAKE SURE the entries are correct when posted. I will be sending an email when the entries are posted at the pool.

• To obtain the Meet Information Sheets that lists the events, please download (in PDF format) when it says "Available" in the appropriate box. Then, be sure to fill in the Hurricane Meet Entry Form and return with your check to the red box at the pool no later than the date listed in the table!
• To read the entry forms, you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you don't have the reader, please click on the icon below to obtain a free copy.
